FAQ
How many guests can you serve?
The most we have catered for is 1000 people at a music festival using both bars and 9 staff members. If you are concerned about waiting times we would recommend requesting an additional staff member.
Can we choose what drinks you serve?
If there is a particular cocktail that you like we can usually accommodate this free of charge. However, if you’d like a specialty spirit or to change what we serve on draught, we do require an additional refundable deposit in case it doesn’t get drunk.
How long do you stay open?
We usually open at around 6-7pm and as long as people keep using the bar, we will stay open. When people stop using the bar we will start to pack up, but we can still serve drinks during this time. If we are providing welcome drinks we usually open at around 2pm.
Can we provide some of our own drinks too?
Yes, but please don’t ask us to arrive early if you are doing this. People will always drink the free stuff first! Also be mindful of the £250 minimum spend.
Do you offer dry hire?
Yes, if you’d like us to serve your own drinks to guests we do offer dry hire for £750. This will give you full use of either the inside or outside bar, 2 staff members, fridge, polycarbonate glasses and draught beer machine for 8 hours. We can also get hold of kegs for you, we charge a £25 handling and transport fee per 50 litre keg and £15 for each 30 litre keg.
How much space do you need?
The outside bar is around 7 metres long and 2 metres wide. However we need a lot of room to manoeuvre both the van and the trailer into the right spot. The trailer is also 2.8 metres high so we need enough clearance for any arches or low tree branches.
Each section of the inside bar is 2 metres wide and the trailer for this is much smaller too.
Do you serve Guinness?
Yes, we serve Guinness with a surger. However we do not have it on draught.
Do you serve alcohol-free?
Yes, we usually have alcohol-free lager, ipa and gin. As well as all of our soft drinks.
Can we open a tab?
If you would like to put some money behind the bar before we open that’s fine, but we cannot do tabs. All funds must be payed in advance and any remaining will be refunded back to you (we usually give free drinks to the hosts).
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a full refund 2 months before the event (minus £30 if a license has been applied for). Within 2 months we can refund the minimum spend deposit but not the booking fee.
